Open enrollment is one of the most important times of the year for both employers and employees. It sets the stage for benefits choices that impact financial security, health, and overall well-being. For HR professionals and business leaders, it’s also a time when compliance with regulations is critical to avoid penalties and ensure employees are informed and supported.
In this seminar, we will cover:
- Preparing for Open Enrollment: Key steps to organize timelines, communicate effectively with employees, and evaluate plan options.
- Compliance Requirements: Understanding ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other regulations that affect benefits administration.
- Best Practices for Communication: Strategies to simplify complex benefits information and increase employee engagement.
- Documentation & Recordkeeping: Ensuring compliance with required notices, filings, and employee acknowledgments.
- Avoiding Common Pitfalls: Practical tips to prevent errors that could lead to compliance violations.
This session is designed to provide practical guidance and actionable tools to help HR teams, business owners, and managers run a smooth, compliant open enrollment season.
