Pat Isaac is the Founder and CEO of Capital Services, Inc.,
an independent Human Capital Advisory firm that helps employers build stronger businesses through smarter workforce strategies. For more than 30 years, Pat has partnered with HR and Executive leadership to reduce costs, strengthen compliance, attract and retain talent, and design Employee Benefits that improve both business performance and employees’ lives. DeAnna Thomas serves as the Vice President of Human Resources for ABC National, where she oversees all facets of HR and payroll. With more than 25 years of experience, she has a proven record of developing strategic HR initiatives, strengthening workplace culture, and supporting employees and leaders. Her expertise includes employee relations, policy development, workforce strategy, and organizational culture. DeAnna also helped guide ABC’s implementation of its artificial intelligence (AI) policy. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees and is certified as a SHRM-SCP and SPHR.

Kathy Humm is the Founder of NTP HR (Notice to Proceed with HR Solutions), which she established in 2022 to help elevate human resources from transactional to strategic in the construction and manufacturing industries. With 17 years of HR experience, including 13 years in construction, Kathy understands the workforce challenges facing today’s employers. She collaborates with company leaders to strengthen their people, vision, and culture. Kathy is Chair of ABC Metro Washington and has also taught Human Capital Management in UMBC’s Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Leadership graduate program.

Kate Lawrence is the Founder of Lawrence Law, where she represents construction businesses in litigation and corporate matters, with clients ranging from small family-owned companies to multi-million-dollar commercial enterprises. Raised around the construction industry, Kate is passionate about protecting contractors and has become a trusted advisor and advocate to Greater Baltimore’s construction community. Her firm’s practice areas include construction and employment law, commercial litigation, and regulatory compliance. Kate serves as general counsel to ABC Greater Baltimore and is a member and former legislative chair of the American Subcontractors Association of Baltimore. She has been recognized among Maryland’s Leading Women Under 40 and Baltimore’s 40 Under 40.
