Steve brings a unique blend of hands-on construction experience and insurance/surety expertise to his role as Surety and Construction Sales Leader at RCM&D. With a background as a civil engineer, claims engineer, and surety underwriter, he has overseen hundreds of construction projects totaling more than $200 million annually across the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean.
At RCM&D, Steve not only leads the Surety and Construction group but also mentors future producers and frequently shares his expertise through industry speaking engagements. He is an active leader in organizations such as CFMA Maryland, ABC Greater Baltimore, and Rebuilding Together.

Kaitlyn Allgood joined Chesapeake Contracting Group in 2012 and currently serves as Finance Director. She oversees the day-to-day financial operations of the organization and is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all financial-related activities of the company. Kaitlyn is the liaison between the accounting department and the executive leadership team and is responsible for safeguarding the organization’s assets. Kaitlyn holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is also a Certified Construction Industry Finance Professional.

Daniel Kurek, CFO of The Reliable Group, brings over 15 years of financial leadership from his tenure at Chaney Enterprises. He serves on multiple industry boards, including the Construction Financial Management Association – Maryland Chapter, ABC Chesapeake Shores Chapter, and the Chaney Foundation. Holding an MBA in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and a Harvard Business Analytics Program credential, Kurek is also a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP).

Emilie Yankus is the Chief Financial Officer at Steel Building Specialists, Inc., where she leads financial strategy and risk management, bridging finance and strategic leadership to drive informed decision-making. With more than 20 years of experience, she focuses on cost control, financial planning, and improving operational efficiency across projects. Emilie earned her B.S. in Psychology from Towson University, her M.A. in School Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland, and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Management from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
