This class will run over the course of two (2) evenings from 5 to 8 pm. Monday, Feb 26th and Tuesday, Feb 27th.
The advanced Architectural class will be a continuation of the Introductory class and will take a focused and deep dive into the architectural drawings and related technical specifications. The differences between Master Format and Uniformat will be discussed. Basic symbol identification will also be reviewed. Class will include reading the different schedules (Room Finish Schedules, Door Schedules, Partition Schedules, etc) and how to relate them to the drawings. Class will take a detailed look at floor plans, ceiling plans, enlarged plans, interior and exterior elevations, and how to compare to other disciplines to coordinate and identify conflicts. Class will also include some basic quantity take off and measuring as a basis for fundamental estimating.
