OSHA 10-Hour for Construction, 2-Day Course

November 6 @ 8:30 am - 2:30 pm

$275.00

OSHA 10-Hour for Construction Industry 2 Day Course:  Wednesday and Thursday. 8:30 am – 2:30 pm.

OSHA mandates that employees be trained and that employers have a training program. Although OSHA 10-hour is voluntary, it is now common for General Contractors to stipulate that employees must have completed OSHA 10-hour prior to accessing the job site. This class gives employees a better understanding of federal and state safety regulations and explores common hazards including the four leading causes of death in construction.

OSHA 10-Hour Topics Include: • Introduction to OSHA • Inspection Citations and Penalties • Hierarchy of Controls • Personal Protective Equipment • Health Hazards in Construction • Electrical Safety • Struck-By • Caught-in Between • Hand and Power Tool • Fire Protection and Prevention • Material Handling • Excavations • Stairways and Ladders • Scaffolding • Fall Protection
