WEBINAR: Heat Stress: The Science, Politics and Ramifications
June 9, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Summer is around the corner and temperatures are rising. Preventing illnesses and injuries related to heat exposure on the jobsite is critical. Jobsites are dynamic and people are affected by heat differently, so having a plan, supervision and knowing the signs of heat stress is vital.
Join a panel discussion that will cover topics such as how heat affects the body, OSHA’s focus on heat-related illnesses and preventative practices used both in vertical and horizontal construction. When it comes to heat stress on the jobsite, there’s no one-size-fits-all program, so learn how some of ABC’s safest members and partners are meeting the complexity of the challenge.
