Virtual Coffee & Conversation
February 17 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am$25.00
Have you ever wondered what was the difference between Arabica and Robusta coffee? Or what are sustainable coffees? Join the WABC (Women of ABC) Peer Group on February 17th at 8 am for our Coffee and Conversation virtual event. We will feature Zeke’s Coffee (https://zekescoffee.com/), a local roastery. You will learn more than you ever wanted to know about java!
Who is Zeke?
Zeke’s coffee started with a man and a one pound coffee roaster. Thomas Rhodes sold his first pound of coffee at Baltimore Farmers’ Market in November 2005, and opened a retail space in Lauraville in NE Baltimore on April 22, 2006. On February 26, 2010, he opened his first cafe at 4607 Harford Road. Zeke was the nickname for Edwin Rhodes, the father of Thomas Rhodes, who started Zeke’s Coffee.
So, let’s support a local business while raising funds for the WABC Scholarship Fund. Make it fun and interesting. Share your favorite coffee mug and story behind it.
Please register today and Dannie will make arrangements to drop off your coffee and pastry!
Tickets are $25 pp and will include coffee and pastry. All are welcome to attend!
All proceeds to benefit the WABC Scholarship Fund (less expenses).
