ULI Baltimore Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2022

March 3, 2022 @ 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Green Infrastructure: creating resilient communities and engaging diverse populations.

Studies indicate that inclusive and comprehensive networks of greenspaces and trails, that are well executed and facilitate social interaction among diverse populations, produce socio-economic, health, and environmental benefits across communities and cities.

Following a presentation of the 2022 Emerging Trends in Real Estate, join ULI Baltimore and our panelists as we explore how the thoughtful planning and implementation of parks and green infrastructure can begin to mend many of the challenges we face nationally, in Baltimore, and in our surrounding counties.

We will also introduce ULI Baltimore’s newly awarded grant: The Equitable Network Plan. This plan and process will create equitable pedestrian and bike paths/trails that connect residents to each other, particularly within neighborhoods that reside in what Morgan State University professor, Dr. Lawrence Brown, coined as Baltimore’s “Black Butterfly.” Through the implementation of this plan, we hope to enable community revitalization, investment, and increased access to jobs for many communities throughout the city.
