Plumbing Exam Prep Course (In-Person Training)
September 14, 2021 @ 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm
This course meets every Tuesday and Thursday for 7 nights at CCBC Catonsville (Classroom: HTECH (Health Careers & Technology) Building Room 213) from 4 to 7 pm.
Classes will meet on the evenings of Sept. 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, Oct. 1, & 6.
This course is designed to prepare you for the master/journey person’s Plumbing/Gasfitting Exams.
Supplementary knowledge and on-the-job training are placed into practical sense and understanding of the current plumbing codes. This class will provide intensive study of the International Plumbing Code and International Gas Code.

Maryland dictates that anyone who constructs, alters, replaces and/or repairs plumbing shall complete the requirements and be licensed as a Journey Person’s.
PLEASE NOTE: The course will now be taught using the International Plumbing Code Book (IPC). Beginning Oct. 1, 2020 all tests will be based on this textbook. Course Instructor: Mr. Edward A. Reger is a Maryland State Master Plumber/Gasfitter and also holds a Maryland State Master Mechanical HVACR license. He is currently working as a plumbing and mechanical inspector for Howard County. Mr. Reger has over 25 years in the plumbing and HVAC field including residential, commercial and industrial applications. He has been teaching plumbing installation and code classes for over 15 years.
