‘Meet the Experts for Bonding/Banking/Finance/Legal round table event’ Hosted by the Diversity Council

The Diversity Council will be hosting a Meet the Experts for Bonding/Banking/Finance/Legal round table event on January 15, 2020 at Harkins Builders from 9am-11am. Participants will be able to meet directly with the following professionals to learn more about Bonding, Banking, Finance and Legal.
Bonding: Rebecca Pena – Delmarva Surety
Bio: “Rebecca Pena partners with construction companies of all sizes on their bonding programs to assist them in finding a surety company that best fits their specific needs. Her team and her work to connect contractors to other key professional relationships and enable them to grow their business and maximize bonding capacity.”
Banking: Thomas Hodgins, Senior Vice President – PeoplesBank, A Codorus Valley Company
Bio: “Thomas Hodgins has been in the banking industry for the entirety of his 48 year employment career. Thirty-three of those years were spent at Mercantile-Safe Deposit & Trust Co. and the last 12 years have been spent at PeoplesBank.
He is a commercial banker with a focus on small to medium sized, privately owned businesses. Hodgins’ area of expertise is in the commercial subcontractor industry. He has banked many clients in the different trades. These relationships span several decades through up and down business cycles.
These years of industry experience enable Thomas to be a trusted adviser to his clients. Timely and pertinent advice, along with custom tailored banking solutions can then be provided to clients to allow their businesses to grow and prosper.”
Joining Thomas Hodgins on Banking: Tammy Clark-McFadden – SBA Department Manager
Bio: Tammy Clark-McFadden has been the SBA Department Manger with PeoplesBank, A Codorus Valley Company for the past three and half years. With it’s corporate headquarters located in York Pennsylvania. In this role, Tammy is responsible for the management of the SBA Department, the expansion of the SBA loan volume of the Bank by working in coordination with commercial relationship officers, ensuring proper underwriting and settlement procedures for SBA financing, and the administration of SBA portfolio.
Finance: Anita Schekells – KatzAbosch

Legal: Kate Lawrence – Lawrence Law
