CONSTRUCTION 101 (VIRTUAL TRAINING) – the basics for those working in the industry but NOT trained in the industry (3 day course)
This class will meet virtually via Zoom on Oct. 25, 27, & Nov. 1 from 4 to 6 pm.

This course will leave attendees with a base knowledge of how a construction project or process is handled from start to completion. Students will learn how construction firms are organized and gain a basic understanding on key concepts such as blueprint reading, contracts, change orders, submittals, progress schedules and experience the estimating and bidding process.
CONSTRUCTION 201 (VIRTUAL TRAINING) – A deeper dive into the basics for those working in the industry but NOT trained in the industry (3 day course)
NOTE: THIS CLASS IS A FOLLOW UP TO THE CONSTRUCTION 101 TRAINING ABC OFFERS. IT IS NOT A PREREQUISITE, BUT IS ENCOURAGED PRIOR TO TAKING THE 201 TRAINING.
This class will meet via ZOOM on Nov. 20, 22 and 27 from 4 to 6 pm.

This course has been designed as a follow up to and builds on the Construction 101 course and provides a deeper dive into Project Management and Superintendent fundamentals. Students will learn how construction firms manage the construction process from set up to turn over and will gain a basic understanding on how projects are managed from the field. Key topics include document management & control, project management tools, material tracking, contracts, change orders, submittals, progress schedules, site utilization, subcontractor coordination, punch list, inspections, and safety management.
